Zhongyu Group and State Power Investment Corporation Shanxi Electric Power Co., Ltd. joined forces to establish DianTou Zhongyu (Youyu) Clean Energy Co., Ltd. on December 9, 2021.
The 210MW National Energy Investment Zhongyu Youyu Photovoltaic Project (Hongyu PV Power Station), constructed with company investment, is a key project in Shanxi Province. Located in Weiyuan Town, Youyu County, Shuozhou City, the project boasts a total investment of approximately RMB 1.191 billion and spans a site area of about 4,000 mu. With a total installed capacity of 210MW, the project is being developed in phases.
Phase I of the project was officially registered in January 2022 and achieved full-capacity grid connection and went into operation on September 28, 2023. Phase II was registered in April 2023 and is expected to reach full-capacity grid connection and begin operations by April 30, 2025.

◆Economic Benefits: Once fully connected to the grid, the plant is expected to generate an average of 37,981 kWh annually, saving 120,800 tons of coal each year.
◆Social Benefits: The project employs an efficient "modular power generation with centralized grid integration" model, providing the local area with a stable supply of clean energy, significantly optimizing the regional energy mix, and creating long-term economic value.
◆Ecological Benefits: Each year, this initiative helps reduce CO₂ emissions—greenhouse gases—by approximately 322,900 tons, playing a positive role in protecting Right Jade County’s environment and mitigating air pollution.
